Authorised Person – Data Centre – Sweden

Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector. We are currently constructing multiple Turnkey Data Centre Projects across Europe, equating to over 500 MW of IT load in flight.
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Authorised Person to join our team. This position will be based on-site in Eskilstuna, Sweden.

Responsibilities

Safety & Compliance Leadership
Ensure all works under AP control are executed in accordance with Swedish legislation, project HSE requirements, and client standards, maintaining safe systems of work across live and non-live data centre environments.
Permit to Work & Isolation Control
Manage the Permit to Work system, including isolations, lock-out/tag-out, energisation, and return to service, ensuring full control of high-risk activities and critical infrastructure.
Technical & Operational Authority
Act as the technical authority for assigned systems, overseeing installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities while safeguarding system integrity and operational assets.
Stakeholder & Interface Management
Coordinate with subcontractors, commissioning teams, and client representatives to manage system interfaces, phased handovers, and live working constraints within a hyperscale data centre project.
Documentation & System Governance
Maintain accurate AP logs, system status records, switching schedules, and handover documentation to support audits, inspections, and final client acceptance.

Requirements

Must have valid and recognised AP qualifications
Must have 5+ years’ experience in a similar role on high voltage/large scale electrical projects (preferably Data Centres)
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Sweden

Benefits
€95,000 - €100,000 + Full rotational Package (including €250 net a week allowance, Accommodation, Flights, rotation etc.)
